21st Century Community Learning Centers

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers help schools stay open after the regular school day to provide children with a safe, enriching learning environment and individual attention in either school district in the lower Yakima Valley.

The Mid-Valley Providers Consortium will offer academic enrichment after school learning opportunities for students in reading and mathematics and provide parent educational activities. Program goals are to increase student’s academic achievement in reading and mathematics through tutoring, homework help, academic enrichment, technology education, supervised recreational opportunities, and services for you with disabilities.

21st Century also offers opportunities for parent involvement, English language classes, and other parent classes.
